Our Story

Some things are meant to be.

Flourish began the way most sacred things do — quietly, in a small room, with a big dream.

In 2012, Logan founded Flourish Ayurveda out of a deep conviction that each of us holds an extraordinary capacity to heal ourselves. She just wanted to help people remember that. Armed with ancient Ayurvedic wisdom and a heart full of vision, she began guiding clients toward self-liberation, embodiment, and a kind of freedom most of them hadn't known was possible.

Then Julia walked in.

They first bonded over their love of sweaters — which feels exactly right for two women whose work is ultimately about warmth and comfort and coming home to yourself. But it was a dream that sealed it.

A mutual friend let slip that Julia had dreamed about Logan. In the dream, they were together in a forest. A man needed healing. Without a word, they both knelt down beside him and healed him — using nothing but energy and intention.

Logan had to ask her about it. Julia was mortified. And somehow, in that slightly awkward, completely magical moment, a partnership was born.

Julia had spent years as a nutrition scientist, brilliant at her craft but quietly aware that something was missing. When she stumbled into Logan's Ayurvedic circle, something woke up in her. It was always about more than the food. She went on to earn her certification in Ayurvedic Counseling, and the two began offering seasonal group cleanses together — dreaming out loud about a real space. A place where community could gather. Where healing could happen on every level. Where the work they were both called to do could finally have a home.

In 2024, that dream became Flourish Ayurveda Center.

Welcome home. We've been waiting for you.

Meet Logan & Julia

I found yoga at 20 years old — and it may have saved my life.

For years I had quietly carried depression, self-deprecating thoughts, and a subtle feeling that I didn't quite belong in this world. Yoga was the first place I ever became still enough to hear a different voice. A voice that said you are worthy. you belong here. you are enough.

Ayurveda came next, and it cracked my world open in the most beautiful way. Here was an ancient system that saw everything as connected — every person, every season, every living thing woven together in one intelligent whole. For someone who had spent years feeling a deep sense of loneliness, that understanding wasn't just intellectual. It was healing.

I went on to train at the Ayurvedic Institute under the legendary Dr. Lad, and what I found there deepened everything. That was over 14 years ago. I've been sharing this wisdom ever since.

My work lives at the intersection of ancient science and deep spiritual practice. I'm a certified Ayurvedic Practitioner, a yoga teacher trained in Vinyasa, Yin, and Kundalini, and a practitioner of Marma Energetic Healing — a profound bodywork practice that works directly with the body's vital energy points.

But more than any credential, what drives me is the belief that you already have everything you need to heal. My job is simply to help you remember that.

When I'm not in session I'm fully in mom mode — driving my 13 and 9 year old to every sport imaginable, playing at parks, and watching whatever silly show they're currently obsessed with. It's my favorite kind of magic.

I came into this world perfectly split down the middle.

My mom's answer to everything was water, rest, and a crystal held close. My dad's answer was logic, research, and understanding the why behind everything. He was also a writer and a deep thinker — someone who understood that the most important truths often live beneath the surface.

I grew up holding both of those worlds inside me, never quite sure how they fit together. It turns out they were always meant to.

I spent years doing everything right on paper — a Master's degree in Nutrition Science from the University of Cincinnati, research in pediatric and family health, a clinical career that checked every box. And still, something kept whispering: there's more.

Ayurveda was the answer I didn't know I was looking for. It taught me what my Western training couldn't — that health isn't just about what you eat. It's about how you live, how you feel, how deeply you know yourself. It was the bridge between my mother's intuition and my father's intellect. It made sense of everything. I completed my Ayurvedic Counselor training at New World Ayurveda and never looked back.

Today my work weaves together nutrition science, Ayurveda, Vedic Astrology, and Holistic Facial Therapy into something that feels less like a consultation and more like coming home to yourself. I believe beauty is a frequency. I believe the cosmos have something to tell you. And I believe that health and vitality are not things you have to earn — they are your birthright.

I'm also a mom of two, a former wine bar manager who was absolutely giving therapy sessions between pours, and someone who will always stop to talk about sweaters.
